Le village de Tasiilaq, dans la région d'Ammassalik, sur la côte est du Groenland, est coupé du monde pendant l'hiver. Avant, c'était à chaque saison, mais le monde moderne l'a rattrapé. Et aujourd'hui, à l'aube du printemps, il peut s'ouvrir aux visiteurs et aux bateaux de ravitaillement, mais les pratiques ancestrales demeurent. On se déplace sur la banquise comme si c'était la terre, malgré la débâcle qui a commencé. 

The village of Tasiilaq, in the Ammassalik region, on the east coast of Greenland, is cut off the rest of the world during winter. Before, it was during any seasons, but now the modern world has caught up with it. Today, in early spring, it can open itself to visitors and supply ships, but the ancestral practices remain. People walk on the sea ice as it was land, even ice the spring breakup has started.
